RESPONSIBILITIES:
Code, validate, and research invoices; work with accounts payable to resolve any issues
Prepare journal entries for accruals, reclasses, and cross charges to ensure complete and accurate monthly close for assigned functions
Provide detailed variance analysis on functions each month highlighting key variances between actual results and forecast, plan and last year
Support monthly forecast process partnering with function heads. Also providing key drivers of variances versus the previous forecast, plan and last year
Provide support in annual and long range plan process for Corporate functions along with providing key business drivers and logic for changes
Assist in consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet forecast and variance analysis looking at actual results versus forecasts, plan, and LY
Analyze forecasts and plans received from business groups and provide any necessary recommendations
Support strategic Corporate/Brand initiatives as needed to meet business objectives
Support financial projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent
1+ year of work experience related to accounting or finance strongly preferred
Highly organized and self motivated
Must have excellent communication skills and must be detail oriented.
Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Proven ability to work on multiple priorities while still achieving agreed upon deadlines
Experience working with PC database applications Report Writer Software, PeopleSoft financials, and financial projection models is preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skill set with an emphasis in Excel
