Darrin Lang and Seth Burr began their recruiting career with a national, publicly-traded staffing firm. For over a decade, both Darrin and Seth honed their skills with regards to the best practices of the industry. Here they began envisioning a more personal and custom approach to filling both staffing and employment needs, by hand-selecting firms that co-aligned with their values, and sought life-long partnerships. The same tailored approach remains to this day. It starts with listening to the needs of employers, assessing and discussing the culture of the client’s firm, and the skill set(s) required for the job; and ultimately delivering customized staffing solutions with the highest level of customer service.
The name LABUR is derived from the surnames of the two partners, representative of their commitment to working together and synergizing their energies to a common goal: bridging the gap between company and candidate.
In order to bridge the gap, Darrin, Seth, and the entire LABUR Team build relationships with each of their candidates, developing a strong understanding of their career goals and employment background. It is with this understanding that they are able to present the best candidates for each job and allow companies to focus their resources on their core business.

Darrin directs business development for LABUR Professional Staffing. With almost 15 years of sales and leadership experience, Darrin is an expert at understanding a client's needs and delivering quality results. Darrin's goal is to provide an excellent level of service with end results that help build the foundation of a long-term relationship with each client and candidate. With dedication to this vision, Darrin co-founded LABUR.
SETH M. BURR
Seth directs recruitment for LABUR Professional Staffing. Prior to co-founding LABUR, Seth was a Market Manager at one of the world's largest contract and direct hire staffing firms. After graduating from Denison University with a BA in Philosophy, he began his career at the prominent investment management firm, MFS. Seth's reputation in the staffing industry stems from his ability to network and successfully find the very best candidates in the marketplace. With nearly a decade of recruitment experience, Seth aims to raise the bar for the industry, providing an unparalleled level of service and a commitment to finding the perfect fit for each job and candidate he works with.
